Fourteen years on, the Parr family sequel lands as one of Pixar's strongest follow-ups, winning critics over with kinetic action, sharp wit, and a role-reversal premise that lets every family member shine. The main fault line in reviews is whether it can stand beside the original: most say it comes admirably close, while a vocal minority argues the script coasts on goodwill and the villain feels thin. Baby Jack-Jack is almost universally cited as the film's comic secret weapon.
