What critics thought

The third Panda outing earned a warm but not universal reception — critics generally found it visually stunning and cheerfully entertaining, yet a meaningful contingent felt it recycled the first film's beats and fell short of the second's ambition. The divide runs less along age lines than along expectations: fans happy with more of the same got exactly that, while those hoping the series would keep raising its game were left a little cold.
